Champions Chelsea have started the 2010-11 English Premier League competition with the heavy scoring that they ended last season with.Didier Drogba has done likewise.The Ivory Coast-born striker netted a hat-trick yesterday on the first day of the new season that lifted Chelsea to a crushing 6-0 win over promoted West Bromwich Albion at Stanford Bridge.Chelsea, who ended last season with an 8-0 thrashing of Wigan in which Drogba also supplied three goals, moved instantly to the top of the table after the biggest opening day victory in the history of the Premier League.Yesterday’s win was the eighth time Chelsea won on the opening day in the last nine seasons.
