St Joseph woman killed

Police are continuing their investigations into the death of a St Joseph resident.Marilyn Flett, 78, of Tent Bay, St Joseph, was killed in a vehicular accident late Friday evening near the entrance of the Speightstown Bus Terminal in St Peter.According to sources, Flett was a pedestrian about to enter the Bus Terminal to catch a 7 o’clock bus home with her granddaughter, when she was hit by a bus owned by the Transport Board.Flett, who is originally from Canada, lived in Barbados with her daughter Suzanne and granddaughter Erin. When a Sunday Sun team visited the family’s home yesterday, her daughter Suzanne was too distraught to comment.Police are investigating. (MM)
