Dengue Death

Another death from dengue has been recorded here. 
The Ministry of Health says a young adult female is the latest person to succumb to dengue fever. 
The death occurred on Thursday, September 16, and was confirmed by laboratory tests on September 22. 
Barbados has recorded 199 confirmed cases of dengue fever and three deaths so far this year.
The Ministry of Health is urging Barbadians who are experiencing symptoms of the disease, including sudden high fever, severe headaches, pain behind the eyes, muscle and joint pain; or symptoms of dengue haemorrhagic fever, such as bleeding from the nose, mouth and gums; frequent vomiting, severe abdominal pain or difficulty breathing, to seek medical attention at once.
