Queen’s College will be making a donation of over one thousand silver dollars to the Kiwanis drive tomorrow after a student initiative raised that sum.
During the lunch period yesterday, students laid out their dollars under the guidance of deputy principal Juanita Wade around the school’s roundabout to count the sum.
Kiwanis Silver Dollars for Children 2010 will be held in the Inner Basin of Independence Square, Bridgetown. Barbadians and visitors are encouraged to place their silver dollars anywhere along the specially marked route.
