BEST SELLING, internationally renowned author Eric Jerome Dickey is the special guest at this weekend’s Girlfriends Expo.
The writer of such novels as Milk In My Coffee and Sister, Sister, will be present each day of the expo signing autographs, taking pictures. He will also be conducting interviews and speaking about his new book, Tempted By Trouble.
The New York Times has labelled Dickey “one of the few kings of popular African American fiction for women” and he has topped the New York Times best seller list six times. His novels explore the complex romance of the African American.
The expo which started yesterday at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre will also be the only place to currently get Dickey’s new novel, compliments The Book Source. Dickey will also be taking part in The Love Jones Experience, one of the specialty events at the Expo.
The event, now in its second year, is a weekend for the women. It features business showcases, series of five fashion shows, treasure hunts, seminars and workshops as well as the Imagine Entertainment Kids Zone and the Banks Men Zone. (PR)
