4:32 p.m. Saturday, Oct, 9, POTCHEFSTROOM, South Africa – Jamaican teenager Stafanie Taylor sustained her rich vein of form with yet another half-century as West Indies toppled Sri Lanka by nine wickets on Saturday, to march to their third straight victory in the ICC Women’s Challenge.
The 19-year-old opener stroked an accomplished unbeaten 68 as the Windies cruised to 166 for one off 28.4 overs, in response to Sri Lanka’s inadequate 165 all out off 48.3 overs at North-West University Ground.
Taylor’s opening partner Juliana Nero stroked 52 while captain Merissa Aguilleira finished saw her side home with 37 not out, as the Windies girls remained unbeaten in the One-Day International segment of the six-team tournament.
