Not even the heavy showers at one point today broke the long line of mourners who turned up at Parliament to view the body of late Prime Minister David Thompson.
Instead, they pulled out their umbrellas to shield from the rain, determined not to miss their spot in the line.
From as early as 9 this morning, Barbadians from every walk of life arrived at Parliament Yard to await their turn in saying goodbye to their former leader.
Thompson, 48, died last Saturday at his private residence in Mapps, St Philip.
