There are long lines at gas stations with Barbadians looking to fill up their vehicles this morning and afternoon.
With the passing of Tropical Storm Tomas, now upgraded to a category one hurricane, Barbadians weren’t taking chances and decided to head to the gas stations to make sure their vehicles were up to the top with gas and diesel.
The centre of Tomas passed over Barbados around 2 this morning, leaving some damage and destruction in its path.
There is now an all clear for Barbados and it was declared by Prime Minister Freundel Stuart.
