THE?air was still, as with military precision, the bearer party carried the coffin to the hearse at Kensington Oval yesterday. It was part of the rehearsals for the funeral of late Prime Minister David Thompson.
Stand-ins were the order of the morning event, with each set of actors being put through their paces to ensure that everything goes smoothly for tomorrow’s funeral.
After the rehearsal at Kensington, the activity moved to St John, where once more officials got down to the task of ensuring that everything went according to plan. (JS)
Smooth run
