The Caribbean Community’s outpouring of sorrow on the passing of the late Prime Minister, David Thompson, continued yesterday as Jamaica’s Prime Minister Bruce Golding paid a call on Barbados’ Prime Minister Freundel Stuart to express condolences on behalf of his country.
During the brief visit at Government Headquarters on Bay Street, the two regional counterparts exchanged a number of ideas, while speaking glowingly about the foundation laid by the late Prime Minister, who succumbed to cancer at his St. Philip residence on October 22.
Prime Minister Golding, along with other regional and overseas dignitaries, is expected to attend the State Funeral for this country’s sixth Prime Minister tomorrow, Wednesday, November 3, at Kensington Oval.
