A fantastic display of goalkeeping and superb attack from the Samuel Jackman Prescod Polytechnic (SJPP) carried them to a 2-1 victory over The Lodge School in their quarter-finals clash in the Barbados Secondary Schools League in the Pine yesterday.
Damian Thorington struck for SJPP in the 26th minute before Nathan Greaves equalised for Lodge in the 36th.
Early in the second half, Javier Wiggins used tremendous speed and skill to elude the defenders and thundered a right-booter into the Lodge nets to regain the advantage.
Here, SJPP’s Arsenio Taylor and Lodge’s Miguel Goodman battling for the ball.
