No, it’s not a new way to decorate a Christmas tree, in case you were wondering what these strong men were doing.
They are actually trying to get the giant Christmas tree back into the air after it tumbled to the ground on Monday night, by perhaps a strong wind, one of them suggested.
About eight men volunteered their strength in the Coca-Cola Enchanted Forest in Independence Square but to no avail. The tree, with its base of solid concrete refused to budge any further.
So alas, they had to give up and leave it lying on the ground. (RP)
