The fight against HIV/AIDS was taken to St Philip yesterday as that parish’s HIV Education Committee walked through the Blades Hill community distributing literature and condoms, and collecting items for the HIV/AIDS food bank.
Group members reported that the response had been good, with the focus primarily on encouraging the youth into behavioural change.
Committee member Hughson Inniss said the committee had great concern about the youth, because it believed this group was most at risk. (LK)
