Pastors involved in the new prayer network formed will have to follow a code of conduct.
Paul Watson, vice chairman of the Pastor’s Prayer Fellowship Network launched today during a press conference at the Restoration Ministries International, Britton’s Hill, St Michael church, said: “We recognize that we have been called individually to the ministry of the Gospel of Jesus Christ whether in the role of Apostle, Prophet, Pastor, Teacher or Evangelist and that in this role we recognize that we each have a responsibility to conduct ourselves in a manner appropriate to our calling”.
Chairman of the network Senator Rev David Durant said the objectives of the network were: “to build covenant relationships between pastors, to function as a support group for pastors, to plan and implement a programme of activities that is designed to transform the moral and spiritual life of the nation and to develop and uphold high ethical standards for pastors so that the good name of the Christian Church is not devalued.”
