This week Virgin Atlantic unveiled its new red shoes for female uniformed staff.
The shiny red shoes made their first appearance on the launch flight of the airline’s new Airbus A330 aircraft which will operate from Manchester to Orlando.
All female uniformed staff were issued with the new red shoes, which were made in two styles – Dorothy and Dotty. They were made exclusively for the airline and while trendy, they are functional.
Chief Executive Officer Steve Ridgway said: “We have listened to our staffs’ comments and we have been working very hard to develop a pair of patent leather red shoes that will reflect the glamour of our iconic uniform…”.
