Fuelling station to cut costs

The National Petroleum Corporation (NPC) took a step into the future today by launching a solar-powered Natural Gas Fuelling Station.
Minister in the office of the Prime Minister with responsibilities for energy, Darcy Boyce, hailed the project and said the day will come when Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) vehicles and CNG refuelling stations would become prevalent in this country “as we strive to reduce the overall cost of living and operations throughout Barbados and reduce green house effects.”
The fuelling station was launched at the NPC?headquarters in Wildey before an audience that included NPC chairman Sir Harcourt Lewis, general manager James Browne and officials from business partners, Barbados Light &?Power, Accra Hotel and Spa, Crane Beach Hotel and Courtesy Garage Ltd. (MK)
