It was a dream come true for many who attended Holders House grounds last night to see Jennifer Hudson perform. The Dreamgirl  thrilled hundreds of fans who attended.
Just about every song she sang was a favourite of hers and members of the transfixed audience, who sang along to hits like I Remember Me, This Isn’t Love, I Got This and Angel.
Hudson’s son, David, stole a little bit of the spotlight when he took to the stage with his own microphone towards the end of her performance.
Fans and winners of Canada’s Chum FM promotion were also treated to performances from Canadian Suzie McNeil, who is a Supergirl in more ways than one.
Los Angeles-based Maroon 5 brought the night to an exciting climax, with a number of hits which included Harder to Breathe and I’m Never Gonna Leave This Bed.
The night came to a fitting close with an encore performance of Sunday Morning.
