Double strike

West Indies’ hopes of a victory over Pakistan in the first Digicel cricket Test were raised by fast bowler Ravi Rampaul when he grabbed two wickets in one over as the visitors, set 219 for victory, were reeling on three wickets down for just two runs. 
But an unbroken fourth-wicket partnership of 78 runs between captain Misbah-ul-Haq and Asad Shafiq carried Pakistan to 80 for three at the close of play, leaving the contest delicately poised at the end of the third day’s play at the Guyana National Stadium. 
Pakistan require another 139 runs for victory with seven wickets in hand.
