POLICE WERE last night questioning at least 12 Virgin Atlantic passengers about a brawl that broke out on their plane about two hours before it arrived from London yesterday afternoon.
According to reports, the pilot notified local authorities of the fight which was said to involve about 12 people.
One passenger, who did not wish to be identified, told the WEEKEND NATION that it was a “horrifying experience, which caused total confusion”.
She suspected that the offenders “had quite a bit to drink.” She said the ruckus at the back of the plane forced the captain, or one of the senior crew members, to demand that everybody be seated. (AH)
