Watch out!

In the wake of three recent robberies, two involving guns, the West Terrace, St James community has relaunched its neighbourhood watch.
President Keith Streat told the DAILY?NATION the neighbourhood watch had become necessary to maintain a semblance of peace and quiet in the community.
“We need people to be their brother’s keeper with respect to looking out for their interest,” he said. “It is time we minimize the attacks in our neighbourhood with a more vigilant response from the community.
“By passing on information among each other is one way to curtail or be on guard [against] any suspicious activity by persons lurking around our avenues,” said Streat, who was elected during a meeting held at West Terrace Primary School on Saturday.
