LIAT chairman Jean Holder says he has resigned because “it is time to go”.
Speaking yesterday hours after LIAT?had released the news he had tendered his resignation, Holder told the MIDWEEK NATION: “It seems to me in my judgement like the right thing to do at this time.”
In the brief statement to the media LIAT said Holder had submitted his resignation as director and chairman to the Barbados Government, one of the three shareholders of the airline.
“He has confirmed his commitment to continue serving LIAT?as chairman until someone is appointed to replace him,” the statement added.
