Welch confirmed that a man was  being questioned.
Yesterday the DAILY?Nation reported that the police were searching for a man who beat  and buggered two young boys in the space of 12 days in the area of St Stephen’s Hill, Black Rock, St Michael.
Earlier yesterday a team visited the Stephen’s Hill area where police officers in plainclothes were checking on a network of tracks and bushy areas to the east of St Stephen’s Primary School. These tracks lead  into areas such as Pleasant View and Upper St Stephens Hill via an old quarry.
While there, the team also spoke with some people who live and work in the area.
“It’s wrong and I hope they hold who did it,” said the proprietor of the 8 Ball Restaurant, David Blackett.A customer at the restaurant, whose son attends St Stephen’s Nursery School, also expressed concern although he did not wish to be identified.“As a parent  in Barbados, I am concerned. We have  to make children more aware of the dangers which exist,” he said.
