STUDENTS SAID their end of term farewells in various ways yesterday, ranging from the writing up of uniforms to a fundraising sale.
There were no reports of bad behaviour as there were a few years ago when shop owners in Bridgetown complained of noise and lawlessness by students.
During the day thousands of primary and secondary school students who will be moving on to different institutions or the world of work wrote their goodbyes on uniforms.
Little Quiana Broome-Webster at St David’s said, “I could mark up this uniform, this will be the last time I wearing it. I going into a new big school with children from another school.” (AH)
