GEORGETOWN, Guyana  – Barbados, leading by 13 on first innings, reached 292 for eight in their second innings at the close on the second day of their first round match in the WICB Regional Under-19 Championship at the Demerara Cricket Club today.
BARBADOS 161 (Neil Browne 26 not out, Kraigg Brathwaite 26, Kyle Mayers 26, Anthony Alleyne 23, Shane Parris 21; Larry Edwards 5-42, Kavem Hodge 3-36) and 292 for eight(Anthony Alleyne 79, Shane Parris 60, Neil Browne 36, Mario Rampersad 34 not out, Justin Greaves 27; Kaveem Hodge 3-78, Larry Edward 2-75). WINDWARD ISLANDS 148 (Dwight Thomas 77, Sunil Ambris 24, Emmanuel Peter 21; Justin Greaves 7-40, Kraigg Brathwaite 2-27).
Trinidad and Tobago, following by 184 runs, were 52 for three in their second innings at the close on the second day of their first round match in the WICB Regional Under-19 Championship at Everest on Tuesday.
JAMAICA 320 (Teswayne Creary 77, Donovan Nelson 57, John Campbell 55, Aldaine Thomas 39, Bryan Gayle 33; Derone Davis 5-79, Jovan Ali 4-64). TRINIDAD & TOBAGO 136 (Stephen Katwaroo 33, Duane Cockburn 28, Isian Rajah 21; Donovan Nelson 4-41, Ramon Senior 2-9) and 52 for three.
Leeward Islands, trailing by 208 runs on first innings, were 112 for six in their second innings at the close on the second day of their first round match in the WICB Regional Under-19 Championship at the Guyana National Stadium on Tuesday. The tea interval was pushed back to 3:40 pm with the close extended to 6 pm.
LEEWARD ISLANDS 109 (Rahkeem Cornwall 43; Anthony Adams 4-14, Amir Khan 3-39) and 112 for six (Akeem Saunders 44, Rahkeem Cornwall 34 not out; Amir Khan 2-29). GUYANA 317 for nine declared.
