TWO MEN were shot and injured last Thursday morning at Speightstown, St Peter, following an event at The Esplanade.
Police said that it was just after 12:30 a.m. when in the wake of a bottle throwing incident shots were fired, and Antonio Rock, 24, of Major Walk, St Peter, sustained gunshot injuries to the head and had to be hospitalized. Another man, Glenroy Ramsay, 21, of Boscobel, was shot in the left hand, treated at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and discharged.
 Police reported that officers on duty pursued a man who they believed had fired the shots and they were also shot at by him.
Investigations are continuing into the incident. (ES)
