Home team The Club experienced mixed fortunes when the Cooperators General Insurance Junior Knockout Volleyball Competition continued on Tuesday night at Lodge Hill.
The Club women went down in straight sets to the Rockets, 19-25, 24-26.
However, The Club men rebounded in an entertaining match, sneaking past new team Titans 25-21, 19-25, 16-14.
The excitement of the game was increased by the presence of over a dozen players from both teams bearing records of appearances from Division 1 sides Chargers, Progressive, Rockets and Foundation.
Many of the players had turned out for at least three of those teams. (KB)
