A 56-year-old man died at the junction of Green Hill and Lodge Hill, St Michael, yesterday after being struck by a truck.
The accident in which Eustace Padmore, of Lemon Arbor, St John, lost his life occurred around 5:30 p.m. Reports indicate the man was crossing the road when he was involved in the accident with the truck driven by Renaldo Johnson of Hopewell, St Thomas.
Meanwhile another accident – involving a car and a minibus – occurred along Valley Road, St George. One person was reported to have suffered a broken leg.
