POLICE?OFFICERS?turned up at the Westbury Cemetery yesterday after SSA?workers confronted two gravediggers who refused to join in a work stoppage.
Sergeant Rondell Lynch warned the workers in the presence of Superintendent of Cemeteries Ricky Cummins (right) that they could not prevent a worker from carrying out his duties, if he wanted to.
Cummins sought to calm the agitated gravedigger after he and other workers got into an argument. (Picture by Maria Bradshaw).
