COMMISSIONER?OF?POLICE Darwin Dottin and a team of his senior officers yesterday paid a visit to Charles Chaderton and his family in Salters, St George, following their tragic loss last month.
It was last August 2  that Chaderton’s brother, Arthur Frederick Chaderton, and his son-in-law, Gerhart Stock, were shot dead at their home, which is also in Salters.
On August 20 the Chaderton family and friends staged a “walk for Peace” from Jubilee Gardens to National Heroes Square in Bridgetown. A cross-section of the public participated in the walk, expressing solidarity with the Chadertons and other relatives of victims of recent violent crime.
Yesterday’s talks between Dottin and the Chaderton family were held behind closed doors with neither side commenting afterwards.
Police have said they were working tirelessly to ensure the murders were solved. (ES)
