Light at end of the tunnel

WITHIN the next three months, home and business owners should be able to benefit from a number of incentives designed to encourage alternative energy and energy efficiency.
Among them are technical assistance grants, rebates and a loan facility resulting from an $18 million Smart Fund financed by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and managed by the Enterprise Growth Fund Limited (EGFL).
Chief executive officer of the EGFL Timothy Simmons told the MIDWEEK NATION that Cabinet recently approved the relevant documentation and the necessary legal structure would soon be in place to effect the first disbursement from the IDB. (NB)
