Smooth driving on Possum’s

Repairs to the dangerous Possum Bridge, which borders St George and St Philip, are nearing completion, and motorists now have a better road to travel on.
The road was realigned and widened while a retainer wall was built around the repaired bridge, which had been broken for over three years. The dangerous sharp corner, which was a major complaint among motorists, is also no more since the road has been widened.
When a NATION team visited the area yesterday, workmen from the Ministry of Transport and Works were busy building a sidewalk, which will extend behind the bridge, making the road safer for pedestrians.
