During the month of October, the SUNDAY SUN will be focusing on crime in Barbados.
Our series, Lockdown On Crime, will delve into this social menace which has been driving fear into the hearts of some, and has law enforcement officers on their toes as they try to bring it under control and the criminals to their knees.
We will be talking to officials who tackle crime daily and those afflicted by it, and seeking solutions to how the nation as a whole can help nip it in the bud.
Look out for the start of the series tomorrow as we look at how communities and some homeowners across Barbados have been taking matters into their own hands as far as protecting themselves. (CM)
