The new multimillion-dollar Carlton A1 Supermarket had a royal official launch last night at its Black Rock quarters, with managing director Andrew Bynoe promising high quality service and unrivalled prices.
Prime Minister Freundel Stuart (left), Minister of Finance and MP for St Michael North-West Chris Sinckler (second from left) and Speaker and MP for St Michael West Michael Carrington (in jacket) yesterday toured the large facility, which will feature 25 000 square feet of supermarket space and accommodation for seven separate shops.
Bynoe (front right) was hailed by Stuart as an “ambitious, creative, daring businessman” and one of the most successful black entrepreneurs this country has produced. (MK)
