The first major step to manoeuvring your way through the current recession is a simple one: formulate a financial plan that suits you.
That advice came from Emmy Award-winning journalist and correspondent for CNN Business News, Valerie Coleman-Morris, as she delivered the feature address at the second annual Fortress Investment Forum at the Frank Collymore Hall, Bridgetown, on Saturday.
She stressed the need for people of all ages to create as early as possible a financial plan which catered to their own personal lifestyle.
Coleman-Morris assured those on hand that it was never too early to start saving and investing their money, explaining that the main objective was to stick to the plan and not allow themselves to be distracted. (RB)
