A consultant actuary with the National Insurance Scheme (NIS) has come out strongly in favour of pumping $50 million into the stalled Four Seasons Hotel and Resort Project.
It is “a real investment” and it should be done, Richard Nunez told the Daily Nation in an interview.
The actuary said in order to help with the needed increase in the funds at the NIS, the money should be invested in something that would provide it, and the Four Seasons project was one such investment.
“The money has to go somewhere. The point is, Four Seasons is a real investment. it may not bring returns right away; it may take a little longer than we expect. let’s say two or three years, but ultimately we cannot lose,” Nunez said.
