Tips help net office frauds

More than half the instances of fraud in the workplace are discovered through employee tip-offs.
And president of the Barbados Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), Andy Armstrong, says Crime Stoppers Barbados’ Integrity Line will help to strengthen those statistics.
Speaking at the official launch of the line at the BCCI’s Deighton Road headquarters yesterday, which coincided with International Anti-Corruption Day, Armstrong lent support to the initiative, saying that it would greatly benefit both the public and private sectors.
The Integrity Line allows employees of participating businesses to anonymously report crime and other wrongdoing in the workplace.
