Lashley not saying

His name is the first one listed on a letter drafted on behalf of 11 Democratic Labour Party (DLP) parliamentarians, seeking an “urgent audience” with Prime Minister Freundel Stuart.
But yesterday Minister of Family, Culture, Youth and Sports Stephen Lashley said he was not prepared to say anything publicly about the issue. Except, he went on to accuse THE NATION of defaming him.
Lashley’s comments came after Acting Prime Minister Ronald Jones and Minister of Agriculture Dr David Estwick proclaimed “Not Me” in response to the newspaper story.
Who else will seek to proclaim “Not Me”?
The DAILY?NATION will continue to publish all denials while holding on to the letter written on behalf of eight ministers and three backbenchers.
