2 robberies in 5 hours

Robbers hit two gas stations in just over five hours and in each case two masked men were involved.
At about 8:30 p.m. on Monday night the Shell station at Pilgrim Place, Christ Church, was robbed by two men who were believed to be armed and got away with an undisclosed sum of money.
At 1:33 a.m. yesterday at Texaco Four Roads, St John, two service station attendants were robbed. One was slightly injured.
Police are warning businesses to strengthen security for the holiday season.
Police public relations officer Inspector David Welch said: “Those businesses in the country who operate at late hours have to pay greater attention to security.
“We are appealing to the public for any information in solving these crimes.
“Anyone with such information can call the police or Crime Stoppers. This information will be treated in the strictest confidence,” he said.
