Dear Christine,
THIS IS JUST A NOTE TO SAY THANK YOU for organizing clothing and other items for my family.
I convey my appreciation to the lady at THE NATION who was so patient in looking into our family’s condition. Many thanks to you all!
Please can you share a wardrobe with us? I have no place to put the children’s clothes. Currently, they are in a plastic bag on top of the bed. I could also do with something to put the bags on and a set of cookware. The ones I have are black from the wood fire in the yard. Our home is in bad condition and really needs floorboards. The side facing the rain is rotten and full of holes; I have to get a saucepan to catch the water. Some paint would also help.

Â
Dear Desperate And In Need,
Thanks for your kind words. I am sure that my assistant found it a pleasure providing you with assistance.
While I understand your plight, I need to inform you that not all your needs can be met as you desire, unless members of the public respond to your letter. Your case, as far as I am aware, is still being looked into, and may be referred to the Welfare Department because of its extent.
– CHRISTINE
