THE DEMOCRATIC LABOUR PARTY (DLP)?Government is not hiding behind the global economic crisis, says Prime Minister Freundel Stuart.
He said everything was being done to spark a turnaround in the economy, but “there are no miracles to be worked anywhere”.
This was the message the Prime Minister delivered yesterday on Errol Barrow Day, as he addressed hundreds of East Coast picnickers on the Ermy Bourne Highway.
He said he knew that Barbadians were “feeling pain”, and Government was doing its best to make sure that Barbados remained stable in these tough economic times.
