Joint policy call

THERE SHOULD?BE a regional resolution to the CLICO?debacle.
This is the view of former Supervisor of Insurance Wismar Greaves, who recently retired as chief executive officer and managing director of Insurance Corporation of Barbados Ltd.
Greaves said Trinidadian policyholders should not be getting back their monies while similar investors in Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean were not getting theirs.
In an exclusive interview with the SUNDAY SUN, he noted the government of Trinidad and Tobago had taken over CLICO assets there such as the ethanol company and shares in Republic Bank in an effort to compensate Trinidadian policyholders.(GC)
