CHRISTIANS MUST be active messengers of hope during these tough economic times.
And, according to Archbishop of the West Indies Dr John Holder, it has to be more than a dream for better days. It must be a conviction that in spite of the challenges things can get better.
Speaking at a service to kick off a week of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary for Rotary Club of Barbados at St Mary’s Anglican Church yesterday, Holder said we are challenged to help those who are not coping well.
He said Christians were called to respond to the text: “Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me.”
