FORMER SANITATION Service Authority (SSA) head Christopher Griffith is dead.
Griffith, 72, served as general manager of the Sanitation Service Authority (SSA) for 24 years. He passed away at his Husbands Heights, St James home yesterday afternoon. He succumbed to prostate cancer.
His wife Juliette and only child, daughter Simone, were at his bedside.
Just last year at the National Independence Awards, Griffith was honoured for his service to national and regional public health. (MK)
