RUNAKO MORTON played his final innings yesterday.
Family, friends and fans turned out in their numbers yesterday to pay tribute to the former West Indies cricketer during a funeral at the First Church of the Open Bible in San Fernando, Trinidad.
Several prominent cricketers, past and present, were in attendance. Among them were former West Indies captain Brian Lara and West Indies Players Association president Dinanath Ramnarine.
Ramnarine read the eulogy, while Lara paid tribute to Morton who died last week Sunday in a car accident in central Trinidad.
