Discoloured water from the Bowmanston pumping station should become a thing of the past once a hydrological study is done next year.
That study will be one facet of the 2011 to 2016 US$50 million Inter-American Development Bank project, entitled the Water and Sanitation System Upgrade Project, which will also include a mains replacement programme; an island-wide water meter-replacement programme; a computer system overhaul; a wastewater upgrade and reuse plan and more.

Cumberbatch spoke to the media during BWA’s fun day at the Bridgefield playing field, St Thomas.
