THEY DID NOT win the Pine Hill Dairy National Primary Schools Athletics Championships (NAPSAC) crown, but the students of Christ Church Girls’ School still had good reason to march in triumph yesterday.
Principal Heather Bryan said though they were edged out, they had every right to march and sing, having come out tops in the Patsy Callender Zone (girls) and second overall.
The boys from the nearby Milton Lynch Primary School – formerly Christ Church Boys’ School, joined in the celebratory march, having placed second in the Patsy Callender Zone (boys) and third overall.
Bryan said the celebrations were to let the students know they were victorious despite not winning NAPSAC.
