Fidel Edwards is probably itching to get back in the thick of things.
The fiery West Indies fast bowler missed the Digicel One-Day International Series against Australia and was among those on the bench for the first Twenty20 on Tuesday when the hosts’ attack appeared to lack a bit of spark in St Lucia.
As West Indies aim to square the series in the final match today at Kensington Oval, there is speculation that Edwards will come into the final 11 to bolster the attack.
Here, Edwards (right) preparing to bowl in the nets at Kensington yesterday under the watchful eye of the team’s team video and statistical analyst Richard Berridge. In the background are captain Darren Sammy (left) and coach Ottis Gibson.
