Barbados find themselves in the middle of the pack of world junior surfing.
The country’s six-member team of Chelsea Tuach, Dane Mackie, Che Allan, Joshua Burke, Caelum Blandford and Daniel Edghill was 15th in a 30-nation table at the end of Day 5 of the Da Kine ISA World Junior Surfing Championships in Panama.
Edghill, Burke and Mackie were all slated to contest the third round of the Under-18 repechage yesterday, while Mackie and Edghill were at a similar stage in the Under-16s.
Up to press time, Tuach was still in the main round of the Under-18 Girls’ draw. (JM)
