Firebrand Minister?of Education Ronald Jones yesterday made it clear he wants industrial relations legislation and an industrial court for this country.
Speaking in the House of Assembly yesterday, he also indicated that teachers should be part of the essential services and that the rule of law must always be paramount.
His comments follow a protracted and divisive dispute at The Alexandra School involving the Barbados Secondary Teachers’ Union and principal Jeff Broomes.
