INTERNATIONAL RECORDING BAND Third World is apologizing for disappointing the thousands of fans who turned up at Farley Hill National Park for the Barbados Reggae Festival’s climax on Sunday.
Bassist Richard Daley apologized in a Press statement while the band’s publicist Stacey Bethel reiterated the group’s futile efforts to get a connecting flight after missing one out of Miami.
“We were extremely disappointed that our fans did not get to see us perform. This is something that has never happened to us before, and we will ensure it doesn’t again,” Daley said in a statement yesterday evening, adding they had performed the night before at a sporting event in Philadelphia before heading straight to the airport.
